I wanted to continue the theme that I started last week which revolved around sportswear clothes and accessories, but in a bit different manner. Which means that today I have created a blog article on how to incorporate sporty style in your wardrobe.
The purpose of this article is to be a source of inspiration for your active wear wardrobe and maybe motivate you to try something new! I have to admit that I have discovered this style only very recently, because before I just couldn’t envision myself wearing sporty items and I was kind of on the fence on it. But as sneakers have been a huuuuge trend recently, I have implemented a sporty breeze in my wardrobe as well. Below you’ll be to see some of my outfits in which I have included different elements of sporty/active wear style.

Vēlējos paturpināt pagājušajā nedēļā iesākto tēmu par sporta apģērbu, bet nedaudz citā rakursā, jeb šodien esmu izveidojusi rakstu par sportiskā apģērba un aksesuāru iekļaušanu Tavā ikdienas garderobē. Šī raksta mērķis ir kalpot kā iedvesmas avotam Tavai sportiskā stila garderobei un iespējams pamudināt Tevi izmēģināt kaut ko jaunu. Atzīšos pati šo stilu esmu atklājusi tikai salīdzinoši nesen, jo iepriekš šajā stilā sevi nu nekādīgi nesaredzēju. Bet tā kā ir sācies dažādo sporta/brīvā stila apavu bums, tad arī es savā garderobē ienesu sportiskākas vēsmas. Šeit vari redzēt manus tērpus brīvā stila tērpus iekļaujot sportiskos elementus.

As you can already see from my outfits, then mostly sporty style in my outfits is incorporated by accessories, for example, in this case those are sporty bags and sneakers (honestly, my fave accessories from active wear). But actually recently I’ve been playing around the idea of buying a baseball cap, because I’ve seen so many fashion blogger sporting them and they surely look super stylish and laid back! I think that they would be perfect for those casual days when you want to hide from everything and everyone, but, of course, in style. I have seen some stylish caps at Asos (they have a really big assortment) and also some sporty chic NY Yankee caps at hatstore.co.uk. Though, firstly, I will drive to the closest shopping centre and try on a baseball cap in a sportswear store just to be sure that I don’t end up looking silly in them :) In the collage below I have compiled together few of my fave accessories that would make your outfit more stylish and sporty.

Kā jau to var redzēt pēc maniem tērpiem, tad lielākoties šo stilu savos tērpos man izdodas iekļaut ar dažādu aksesuāru palīdzību, kā, piemēram, šajā gadījumā tās būtu sportiskas somas un botas. Bet noteikti pieminēšu to, ka pēdējā laikā esmu sākusi apsvērt iespēju par sportiskas cepures (naģenes) iegādi, jo esmu redzējusi ļoti daudzas modes blogeres ar šāda veida cepurēm un viņas izskatās lieliski! Ideāli būtu piemērotas tām casual dienām, kad gribas paslēpties no visa un visiem, bet stilīgi un ar šiku! :) Esmu jau pāris stilīgās cepures nolūkojusi Asos mājas lapā un arī pāris sportiskās NY Yankee cepures hatstore.co.uk mājas lapā. Bet noteikti neizslēdzu iespējamību apmeklēt tuvāko Sportland un no sākuma pielaikot šāda veida cepures un saprast vai piestāv vai tomēr arī nē :) Šajā kolāžā esmu apkopojusi dažus no maniem aksesuāru favorītiem, kas Tavu tērpu padarītu stilīgāku, brīvāku un sportiskāku.

I've been planning on writing/publishing this article since the end of January, but as other blog posts had a higher priority I've been delaying this article a bit. Maybe some of you might have noticed or read that at the end of last year I moved out of my parent's flat and moved in with my boyfriend. We have been living together for two full months and we are slowly starting to fill our apartment with furniture. It so happened that our flat had one spare room and, honestly, I have no idea how I talked my boyfriend into giving this room for me. Seriously neither do I, neither does he remember how I did that! Magic. Anyways, since then I've been proudly calling this room my small home office, headquarters of Call me Maddie, or simpler - my blog room.

I've been collecting inspiration on how to decorate this room for months ( Tumblr and Pinterest were my best friends with this) and I came to a conclusion that you can't find a better selection of furniture than at IKEA. And when I was doing my research I noticed that a lot of fashion and beauty bloggers were actually using the same furniture I am using now. I had been collection money for this furniture for a really long time, therefore, the only matter that had to be taken care of, was actually ordering the items since in Latvia we don't have IKEA stores. Luckily I found a local company that travels to IKEA warehouses in Poland and delivers IKEA furniture to Latvia.

Šo rakstu plānoju blogā publicēt jau no aptuveni janvāra beigām, bet kā nesanāca tā - nesanāca :) Kā jau iespējams daudzi no jums būs to piefiksējuši tad, pagājušā gada beigās es pārcēlos, jeb ievācos jaunā dzīvoklī kopā ar savu draugu. Nu lūk, ir jau pagājuši divi pilni mēneši kopš dzīvojam kopā un pamazām, pamazām sākam iekārtot visas mūsu dzīvokļa istabas. Šeku reku tā nu sanāca, ka mums viena istaba bija tukša un man tiešām nav ne jausmas kādā veidā, bet man izdevās draugu pierunāt šo istabu atvēlēt man. Pati šo istabu lepni saucu par savu mazo ofisiņu, Call me Maddie headquarters, vai vienkāršāk par bloga istabu. 

Jau mēnešiem ilgi vācu iedvesmu tam kādu šo istabu es vēlētos izveidot (Tumblr un Pinterest bija mani labākie draugi :) ) un nonācu pie secinājuma, ka nekur nav iespējams atrast tik labas mēbeles par saprātīgām cenām kā tas ir IKEA. Pietam ļoti daudzas blogers un vlogeres savām istabām tieši ir izvēlējušās šīs pašas mēbeles no IKEA. Naudiņu šīm mēbelēm krāju jau diezgan ilgu laiku un vienīgā problēma bija saprast, kur tieši šīs IKEA mēbeles iegādāties, jo kā jau mēs to zinām, tad Latvijā, diemžēl, nav IKEA veikalu. Meklēju internetā, lasīju forumus un atsauksmes un gala rezultātā izvēlējos IKEA mēbeļu izplatītāju Furni.lv, jo tas manī raisīja vislielāko uzticību kā arī cenas ļoti būtiski neatšķīrās no tām, kas tiek piedāvātas oriģinālajos IKEA veikalos. Ar Furni esmu ļoti apmierināta, jo pasūtījumu veicu pirmdienā, savukārt, visas kārotās mantas jau saņēmu trešdienā vai ceturtdienā. Atnāca viss ko biju pasūtījusi, ļoti labā kvalitātē, ar instrukcijām u.tml., par atsevišķu samaksu arī sarunāju, ka visas preces tika uznestas augšā dzīvoklī.

Es centos maksimāli atrast pēc iespējas vairāk linkus no bildēm redzamajām lietām no IKEA, H&M un Ebay. Šos linkus varēsi atrast šī raksta apakšā.

Of course, as you might already know - IKEA delivers every product to you disassembled, which basically means that you have to screw and assemble everything together by yourself. But I have to add that their instructions are so good and easy to understand! Even I was able to understand everything that was said or shown in the pictures + I asked my dad and brother to help me, which made the whole process so quick and painless! The hardest part was actually the lamps as you have to connect the electricity wires and we surely struggled with putting on the wall lamps. Therefore, if you don't have a lot of knowledge about electricity I would strongly advise you to hire a professional or ask somebody to help you. I have to thank my dad and his knowledge - he is the best :)

Protams, jāpiebilst, ka no IKEA pilnībā viss pie Tevis nonāk izjauktā veidā (pat galda lampiņa), bet instrukcijas ir tiešām ļoti izsmeļošas un saprotamas un, ja Tev ir kāds vīrietis, ko pasaukt palīgā tad tiešām viss būs vislabākajā kārtībā un ar skrūvēšanu tiksiet galā diezgan ātri! Piebildīšu arī to, ka vispiņķerīgākie ir tieši ar elektrību saistītie darbi, jeb lampu nomaiņa/uzlikšana, tāpēc šo iesaku uzticēt tiešām kādam, kas saprot, ko dara, jo piemēram, sienas lampu pielikšanu bija ļoti sarežģīta. Paldies tētim :)

As you can already see in the pictures, the room has a blue floor and blue floral print wallpapers. We decided not to change the wallpapers and the floor since they were in a very good condition and, therefore, we were able to save some money as well. I have to admit, at first I was not very thrilled about the blue color because I find it too specific and kind of too cool, but now as I've been living in this flat for two months I have really grown to quite liking it + I think that it looks pretty chic with the white furniture. Originally I was planning on painting two walls white and two in an accent color or wallpaper and putting a light oak floor. Of course, the room is not nearly finished as there is still a lot of stuff that I want to add or change, for example, I want to put in some shelves as I don't like storing items on top drawer chests as it is not effective, nor pretty.

Istabā ir zila grīda un zilas puķainas (uz pelēcīga fona) tapetes, kuras saglabājās no iepriekš veiktā remonta un bija labā stāvoklī, tāpēc arī nemainījām un sapratām, ka šādi varam ietaupīt arī salīdzinoši daudz naudiņu. Teikšu atklāti - zila grīda noteikti nebūtu bijusi mana pirmā izvēle, jo tomēr krāsa ir ļoti specifiska kā arī samērā auksta, bet esmu jau ar to apradusi un, manuprāt, tā lieliski iet kopā ar baltajām mēbelēm. Oriģināli būtu krāsojusi divas baltas sienas un divas sienas kādā akcenta krāsā, vai rakstā, kā arī būtu ielikusi gaišu ozolkoka grīdu. Protams, istaba vēl joprojām nav pabeigta un tai vēl vajag daudz lietu, kā piemēram, plauktus. Pašlaik visas lietas esmu salikusi atvilktnēs vai arī uz kumodēm, kas noteikti nav pats efektīvākais un skaistākais mantu uzglabāšanas veids.

These pictures were taken at the end of January when the winter was in "full bloom", therefore, you can spot many items in dark colors, for example, the clothing rack (if you follow me on Instagram you might have noticed that I have primped up my spring wardrobe), some decorations etc. But as the spring is, hopefully, coming soon I have since then changed a few things up like added light color accents and decorations. I am also developing my green thumb as I quite enjoy growing plants and just looking after them as they grow. My recent buy are three hyacinths in a pot - I am so curious to see the color in which they'll bloom :)

Šīs bildes tika uzņemtas janvāra beigās, kad mums laukā vēl valdīja salīdzinoši barga ziema, tāpēc arī dažbrīd dominē tumšās krāsas, piemēram, garderobē, jeb uz drēbju statīva (acīgākiem mana Instagram profila sekotāji būs jau pamanījuši, ka esmu "upgreidojusies" uz pavasara garderobi), kā arī istabas dekora elementos un aksesuāros. Bet tā kā pavasaris, cerams, tuvojas, tad pirms aptuveni nedēļas, istabā ieviesu svaigas vēsmas un izvēlējos dzīvespriecīgākus dekorus un krāsu akcentus. Ļoti lielu akcentu pašlaik lieku tieši uz dzīvajām puķēm podiņos - man ir tiešām prieks lolot un izbaudīt krāšņās krāsas, kurās tās uzzied.

Oh what a week it has been! Can’t even wrap my head around the whirlwind that happened throughout the week! I am so lucky and thankful that it is finally Friday and that I’ll have hopefully calm and relaxing weekend! Though I have a feeling that it won’t be so calm after all as I have a loooot of blogging work to do – some awesome and interesting collaborations on the way & I have to start drafting some blog articles for the time I’ll be away at Canary islands. Last year when I went on a vacation I left it to the last moment and, therefore, just had much more stress.

But you know all is good – I like keeping myself busy, especially when I know that my hard work pays off + I’ll have fantastic holidays in less than a month. That surely keeps my motivation level very high! J One step at a time and I’m closer to my dream...

Kas pa nedēļu! Nedēļa bija tiešām ļoti, ļoti piepildīta gan ar darbu, gan ar dažādiem citiem notikumiem! Esmu sagurusi, bet ļoti priecīga par to, ka šodien ir piektdiena un ļoti ceru, ka šī nedēļas nogale būs mierīga un bez stresa J Lai gan pieļauju, ka lielāko daļu pavadīšu strādājot pie datora, jo man ir tik daudz bloga darbiņu ko padarīt! Nākotnē ir ieplānotas dažas patiešām foršas un interesantas sadarbības, kā arī ir jāuzsāk ieskicēt bloga ieraksti aprīļa sākumam, jo būšu atvaļinājumā un neuztraukšos ne par darbu, ne par blogu, ne par jebko citu! J Pagājušogad šos ierakstus sāku plānot/rakstīt tikai dažas dienas pirms atvaļinājuma un, protams, atlikt visu uz pēdējo noteikti nav tā pati labākā ideja, jo tā jau pirms ceļojuma ir neliels stress (piemēram, vai lidmašīnas neaizkavēsies, vai paspēs uz nākamo lidojumu u.tml.).

Bet kaut arī nedēļas nogali visticamāk pavadīšu darbojoties, to noteikti nenožēloju, jo zinu, ka ieguldītais darbs atmaksāsies, kā arī jau pēc mazāk kā mēneša gozēšos Kanāriju salu saulītē. Tas noteikti palīdz man būt motivētai. Soli pa solim un es esmu ar katru mirkli tuvāk savam sapnim...

Make sure that your hair is completely dry before using the wand!

If you have coloured or bleached hair, set the temperature lower.

Don't use the curling wand near water (don't put in the sink, don't use it while in a bathtub etc.)

All in all, I seriously couldn't recommend the Curling wand more, because, honestly, I have nothing bad to say about it as it has so, so many positive values! In my mind it is worth the money and, even though, I haven't tried all the eight wands yet, the ones I have tried are so good! I believe you'll love the product as much as I do if you decide to buy it. Definitely RECOMMENDING it - yes I wrote it in capslock, because I am that passionate about it, hahaha :)

Kopumā, es patiešām nevarētu šo matu lokotāju ieteikt vēl vairāk, jo, goda vārds, man nav neviena negatīva lieta ko par to teikt - tikai un vienīgi pozitīvas! Manuprāt, produkts ir tās naudiņas vērts un kaut arī neesmu vēl izmēģinājusi visus astoņus uzgaļus, zinu, ka tie būs labi! Tiešām IESAKU ar lielajiem burtiem, jo tik ļoti lielā sajūsmā par šo matu lokotāju es esmu, hahaha :)

Who doesn't love weekends right? I think that ever since I started working a full time job, weekends are that reason which makes me function during the week! :) As my weekdays are very busy, I like to plan my weekends with calm and relaxing activities, but as we all know, not everything goes according to the plan :)
The weekend style is surely my favorite style as I love wearing my jeans and my sneakers which I can't really wear throughout the weekend as I a working at an insurance company. As I started this article with talking about weekends, I have collected a few things that make look forward to that Saturday or Sunday morning all day, every day:

*No alarm

* A hot cup of cocoa

*Visiting my parents and Kate

*Blogging and photo shoots which I have during the weekend

*A walk either in the city, park or woods

*Sunday dinner - the only day in the week when I have the proper time to make dinner

*The ability to go to sleep as late as I want to

*Reading a book or catching up on tv shows that I have missed throughout the week

Pink is surely one of my  most favorite colors when it comes to makeup as it is so beautiful, feminine and playful!

As you can already see, today, I have decided to use pink eye shadows, pink lipstick and a pink blusher. At first it might seem like, whoa - girl, too much pink! But, honestly, I do love how the end result looks as I think it is very youthful and fresh! Also this is the first time I'm using the Morphe 35B eyeshadow palette and wow, just wow! I am super impressed with it because the shades are gorgeous! But of course, not only they are gorgeous, they are also highly pigmented (especially the darker shades), they blend sooo easily and they don't crease! I mean what else you could ask for? For sure I give this palette a 10/10. I'll try to manage to write a full review on the 35B soon!

Rozā noteikti ir viena no manām mīļākajām krāsām ar kurām spēlēties veidojot grima tēlus  - tā ir tik skaista, sievišķīga un koķeta! Kā jau variet to redzēt, šodien esmu izmantojusi gan rozā acu ēnas, gan rozā lūpu krāsu, gan arī maigi rozā vaigu sārtumu. Pirmajā uzmetienā izdzirdot tik daudz rozā, liekas, ka beigās viens ķīselis sanāks, bet, manuprāt, koptēls ir izdevies ļoti rotaļīgs un jauneklīgs! Šī bija pirmā reize, kad izmantoju Morphe 35B acu ēnu paleti un, goda vārds, šī palete ir lieliska! Uz acu plakstiņiem neesmu vēl izmēģinājusi visus toņus, bet esmu tos visus iztestējusi pret roku un wow! lielākā daļa no toņiem ir mani tiešām apbūruši! Acu ēnas ļoti viegli uzklājas un izpludinās, tās ir ļoti pigmentētas (it sevišķi tumšie toņi) un ir ļoti, ļoti noturīgi! Es dodu 10/10! Centīšos drīzumā uzrakstīt pilnu atsaukmsi par šo burvīgo paleti!

A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to attend the Schwarzkopf Made to Create event in which I was introduced to the most popular hair fashion trends of 2016. We had a fantastic opportunity to see professionals in their element as well as watch a nice catwalk in which models showcased three main trends: "Urban Sports", "Future wave" and "Freecreation". Believe when I'll say all of them were super stylish, chic and modern - see for yourself in the pictures!

Afterwards, followed the most interesting part of the event as we were able to step on the stage and see the hairstyles up close!And we also had the oppoertunity to have a nice chat with the industry specialists and a have great overview of this years trends! Besides that, we were introduced to Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ hair styling products. I've written a little review on four products down below in this article.

I wouldn't really say that this product gave me super amount of volume, but I definitely saw some very positive qualities in it!

Tame Wild cream will smooth out hair cuticles and make your hair shiny allowing your hair to look amazing till the next washing time. The product is more meant for people who have naturally curly hair, but I, myself, definitely found it useful as well, because my hair gets really frizzy and this cream deals with that very successfully! I was very happy to found out that it didn't make my hair feel heavy or oily which is the case with a lot anti-frizz products.

Tame Wild krēms, izlīdzināamatu kutikulu, padarot matus gludus un spīdīgus, ļaujot matiem izskatīties lieliski līdz nākamajai mazgāšanas reizei. Produkts ir vairāk piemērots sprogainu matu īpašniecēm, bet tā kā mani mati ir cimperlīgi un gali spurojas, tad šis līdzeklis ar to tiek apsveicami labi galā - mati ir gludāki un zīžaināki. Un kas man patika vislabāk ir tas, ka mati nepalika smagnēji vai eļļaini kā tas mēdz gadīties, ja tiek izmantoti matus nogludinošie līdzekļi.

OSiS+ Ultra strong matte cream MIGHTY MATTE

By using Mighty Matte strong matte cream your hair will have that matter effect and strong hold (suitable for medium length and short hair). As I have quite long hair, I have not tried this product  on myself yet, but I am surely tempted to try it out on my boyfriend to see how good the cream is! The scent is fantastic!

Lietojot Mighty Matte stiprās fiksācijas krēmu mati iegūst matētu izskatu un īpaši stipru fiksāciju (piemērots vidēji gariem vai īsiem matiem). Tā kā man ir gari mati, šo produktu izmēģinājusi vēl neesmu, bet noteikti iemēģināšu ieveidot drauga matus, lai redzētu cik labs šis produkts ir! Noteikti jāpiemin tā fantastiskā smarža - tiešām burvīga!

All in all, I definitely recommend the Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ line, because the products have such a good quality and they make the hair styling process so nice and easy! My most favorite quality is definitely the scent, because I believe that hair products should have a nice scent, therefore, if you decide to pick up a product from OSiS+ line you'll not be disappointed :)

If we are talking about makeup, then surely blue color is one of those colors that is the most unusual for me and I have kind of been avoiding it in my daily makeup routine.
Well, it was like that till I saw an Instagram picture of the beautiful and talented Linda Hallbergs and saw how she was rocking blue eye shadows together with a golden/yellow tone eyeshadow. I was very excited when I saw this makeup look and immediately wanted to try it out myself, therefore, today I have prepared a  makeup look post in which I am showcasing my interpretation of that beautiful look. 

When you are playing with blue eye shadows, things can go terribly wrong very easily, because I still remember my crazy teen years when I loved experimenting with colors (and, yes, I had no clue what I was doing) and put the wrong blue shades in the wrong places, I bet you can already imagine the "beautiful" end result :) Of course, I am dramatizing a bit, but ever since then, I was avoiding blue eyeshadow like no other. But as I, hopefully, have gained more experience, I'll definitely play with it more and more in the future, because I think that green eyes in combination with blue eye shadows create a very interesting effect, though, of course, nothing really beats how gorgeous blue eyes look with blue eye shadows!

Kad runājam par grimu, zilā krāsa noteikti ir viena no tām krāsām, kura ir man visnetipiskākā un līdz šim ļoti vairījos to izmantot ikdienas pucēšanās rituālā. Tas bija līdz brīdim, kad ieraudzīju talantīgās vizāžistes Linda Hallbergs Instagram bildi, kurā viņa bija izmantojusi burvīgas zilas acu ēnas kombinācijā ar zeltaini dzelteno krāsu, kā lielisku akcentu acs plakstiņa vidū. Sekojoši man tik ļoti iepatikās šis grima tēls, ka es vēlējos pati paspēlēties ar man šo tik netipisko krāsu un savā veidā interpretēt šo grima tēlu. Spēlējoties ar zilo krāsu ir jābūt ļoti uzmanīgam, jo atceroties savu tīņu gadu eksperimentālās neveiksmes, ir ļoti viegli izvēlēties nepareizos zilos toņus un uzklāt tos nepareizajās vietās iegūstot "burvīgu" uzsistu acu efektu :) Protams, šobrīd dramatizēju, bet šis noteikti bija viens no iemesliem kāpēc zilajām acu ēnām metu ļoti lielu līkumu :) Noteikti ikdienā izmantošu vairāk burvīgos zilos toņus un nokrāsas, jo manuprāt, kombinācijā ar zaļām acīm veidojas diezgan interesants koptēls, bet pieļauju, ka ar zilām acīm, grima tēls būtu vienkārši izcils!

Stenders Grapefruit-Quince Shower Cream

Stenders is surely one of my favorite local brands, therefore, I was very happy to find out that this month's beauty box contained Stenders shower cream! The scent is divine thanks to grapefruit oil - it is so refreshing! I would surely love to use a full size product! You can buy the full size product here.

Stenders noteikti ir viens no maniem mīļākajiem pašmāju zīmoliem, tāpēc biju priecīga, kad ieraudzīju Stendera dušas krēmu/želeju. Smarža ir patiešām ļoti, ļoti patīkama - atsvaidzinoša un atjaunojoša, nu kā jau greipfrūtam pieklājas! :) Noteikti lietotu arī pilnizmēra produktu!

Aptekar avocado and nettle hair mask

I have not yet tried this hair mask, but I love the fact that it has avocado and nettle in it! Yaiy for natural ingredients! In the description it was said that this hair mask straightens and renews hair making them light, smooth and giving them a silky gloss.

Vēl neesmu izmēģinājusi šo matu masku, bet priecē tās dabiskās sastāvdaļas - avokado un nātres. Aprakstā rakstīts, ka matu maska stiprina un atjauno matus, padarot tos vieglus, gludus un piešķir tiem zīdainu spīdumu. 

TonyMoly Waterful Emulsion

I have to admit that this is the first time I have ever heard of this korean brand and it's products, but as I am always very curious, I love trying out new stuff! Sadly this product didn't have a description or and initially I didn't even know for what I should use it for, therefore, I had to find it out myself. As it turns out, the product is a moisturising face cream. The scent is very nice and I did like the light and liquidy consistency. I have tried this cream for a few times and so far no allergic reactions. I can't say if the product is super good or bad, because in order to have an opinion I should use for at least a month. Atzīšos, ka šī ir pirmā reize, kad dzirdu par šo korejiešu zīmolu un tā produktiem. Bet noteikti vienmēr esmu ieintriģēta pamēģināt kaut ko jaunu! Diemžēl šim produktam nenāca līdzi apraksts, kā arī uz iepakojuma nebija iespējas izlasīt to, kam tad tas ir paredzēts. Interneta plašumos noskaidroju, ka šo produktu lieto kā mitrinošo krēmu. Krēms smaržo labi, kā arī tam ir viegla, šķidra konsistence. Pēc pāris lietošanas reizēm izsecinu, ka ādai pret to nav iebildumu, jo neradās alerģiskas reakcijas. Ilgtermiņā lietojot noteikti varētu pateikt vai produkts ir tā vērts ;)

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat

I have not yet tried this powder cream foundation as sadly the shade doesn't match my skin color, but I'll surely try it when I will return from Canary islands, since I'll hopefully be a bit more tan than I am right now! :) In the description it was said that this foundation has a very light consistency and that it adapts to your skin tone flawlessly giving your skin the much need moisture. Šo pūderkrēmu neesmu vēl izmēģinājusi, jo, diemžēl, tas man ir nedaudz pa tumšu - noteikti to pamēģināšu, kad būšu atgriezusies no Kanāriju salām un pabaudījusi saulīti :) Noteikti esmu ļoti ieintriģēta to izmēģināt, jo tas ir ļoti vieglas konsistences un esmu lasījusi, ka tas pielāgojas ādas toņa niansēm, mitrina ādu un sniedz tai uzmundrinošu sajūtu.

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure hair mask

You probably already know my love for Schwarzkopf Professional products and with that being said, this hair mask is not an exception! It has a super lovely scent and I loved the fact that it was not only easy to apply to my hair, but also to rinse it out! I love how smooth and nice my hair felt after using this hair mask. Weleda birch anti-cellulite oil

We all know that summer is approaching and who doesn't want to look great in their bikini, right? A lot of women have cellulite and the main factor that causes it is an inactive lifestyle and long office (as in sitting) hours. In my case I work around 8 hours in an office and when I come home I sit by my pc and blog for two to three hours. That's just a whole lot of sitting. I can't really say whether the Weleda anti-cellulite oil is good or bad, because I've only used it a couple times and with products like this, you can only see the result after a long time. I have to say that probably not everybody will like the oil as it has a specific scent, but I quite okay with it. Though, I wish the product had a different dispenser as it is quite impractical. Kā jau mēs to zinām, tad vasaras sezona ļoti strauji tuvojas un kurai gan no mums negribas lieliski izskatīties peldkostīmā, vai ne? Celulīts ir novērojams ļoti daudzām sievietēm un tas veidojas mazkustīga vai sēdoša dzīvesstila rezultātā. Manā gadījumā tās ir garās stundas darbā, kā arī pēc tam vēl blogošana, protams, arī sēdus pozīcijā. Pašlaik vēl nevaru dot vērtējumu šim Weleda produktam, jo, lai saprastu cik kvalitatīvs tas ir - tas ir jālieto ilgtermiņā. Šādiem produktiem efektu var novērot tikai pēc zināma laika. Piebildīšu to, ka, iespējams, eļļiņas smarža patiks ne visiem, jo tā ir diezgan specifiska, kā arī es vēlētos, lai produktam (arī pilnizmēra) būtu parocīgāks dozētājs.

All in all, I think that the content of the beauty box is very interesting and I got the chance to try out some new products that I would love have in full size. But, honestly, I do think that the previous SANERIBOX boxes were better and a bit more valuable. But, of course, that is only my opinion.

Kopumā uzskatu, ka šīs kastītes saturs tiešām bija interesants un iepazinos ar jauniem produktiem, kuru pilnizmēra versijas ļoti labprāt izmēģinātu. Bet godīgi sakot, manuprāt, SANERIBOX iepriekšējās kastītes ir bijušas labākas un arī nedaudz vērtīgākas. Bet tas protams, mans subjektīvais viedoklis!

Dorothy Perkins has been one of my most favorite online shops ever since I discovered that you can actually shop on the internet! :) Therefore, I was very, very happy when a representative from Dorothy Perkins contacted me and gave me the opportunity to participate in their spring occasion wear campaign!
If we are speaking of special occasions, then the occasion I chose is a spring wedding, or in other words, I chose a lovely dress and some complimentory accessories from the big assortment of beautiful dresses at DP that I think would look so beautiful if worn to a spring wedding!
As we all know there is one rule that you shouldn't break when attending a wedding - under no circumstances wear a white dress (unless you're the bride, hihi)! Therefore, I chose a romantic, fitted lilac dress with a beautiful lace detailing on the top. Honestly, I cannot imagine a wedding without lace, there is just something so beautiful and romantic about it. I decided to throw on a faux fur coat, because those spring days can be really tricky, as in one moment it is sunny and I am enjoying myself, the other moment I get goosebumps from the chilly wind or cloud in front of the sun. For this outfit I chose accessories in a neutral, light pink color to match the outfit and I have to say that I was very picky, because I didn't want to steal the spotlight from the romantic dress. I believe that the most beautiful person of the day should be the bride, therefore, don't overdo your outfit, makeup or hair because this not the important day of your life, but hers! :) But of course, wedding is surely a lovely occasion for which to prepare for, but all in good proportions! :)

Tā kā Latvijas pavasarim ir ļoti bieži novērojamas krasas temperatūras un laika apstākļu maiņas, pa virsu skaistajai kleitai uzvilku siltu mētelīti, kas pasargās no vēja un neļaus acumirklī nosalt. Aksesuārus es izvēlējos maigā rozīgā toņkārtā, tā, lai tie skaisti izceltu kleitu, bet tajā pat laikā nenozagtu uzmanību no tās. Manuprāt, uz kāzām ejot nav ļoti jāpārpucējas, jo galu galā šī diena nav tava dzīves galvenā diena, bet gan līgavas - līdz ar to, manuprāt, visskaistāk ir jāizskatās pašai līgavai! :) 
Ceru, ka Tev patiks šis tērps un, ka guvi kaut nelielu devu iedvesmas kādam skaistam pavasara pasākumam, kuru gaidi nākotnē!

I know that for two consecutive weeks I have not written my Friday Ebay bargains posts and, well, my only excuse is that "life just got in the way", because lately I am constantly running out of time and sadly my most used phrase is "I don't have time for that" or "later". Honestly, it is horrible to live with a state of mind that you can't actually manage to do everything you've planned  and lately I've been juggling way too many things on one plate, therefore, the end result is not as good as expected for either of them. In these past two to three weeks it just feels like life is just running by.  Of course, it is nice to know that next week I'm going on a vacation, but the week building up to it has been really tough and I, honestly, don't even want to imagine how it will be after I come back. Sadly I am that kind of a person who just can't let go of things, I over think, overstress and I know that I might not enjoy the vacation to the fullest as I worry too much. Do you have any advice how to overcome this stressful, a bit depressing mood I'm currently in? How do you deal with the fact that you might never have time to do everything and just zone out?

I know that my rant had nothing to do with this post, but then again I did want to let you know how I felt and that sometimes the life of a blogger is not all about rainbows and sunshine, especially if you have to balance a full time job, relationship, family and friends. Anyways, I really hope you liked the items I found on Ebay this week and that you found something useful and/or interesting!

Zinu, ka veselas divas nedēļas esmu izlaidusi manus iknedēļas Ebay atradumus, bet angļiem ir viens labs teiciens "life just got in the way", jeb pēdējā laikā patiešām dzīvoju konstantā laika trūkumā un uz gandrīz jebkuru lietu man ir atbilde - "nav laika" vai "vēlāk". Ir patiešām šausmīgi dzīvot ar šādu apziņu, ka nekam tā īsti līdz galam neatliek laika un, ka vairākas lietas sanāk darīt reizē rezultātā neiegūstot to rezultātu, ko es vēlētos. Nudien man ir tāda sajūta, ka es esmu iesprūdusi vāveres ritenī un, ka dzīve tā vienkārši paskrien garām. It kā jau forši, ka nākamnedēļ dodos atvaļinājumā un ceļojumā, bet tajā pat laikā pašlaik skrienu kā bez elpas, lai tikai paspētu uz visām pusēm, bet zinu, ka pēc atvaļinājuma būs vēl uz pusi grūtāk. Kā arī, diemžēl, esmu tāds cilvēks, kas nevar vienkārši atslēgties un baudīt, jo pusi no atvaļinājuma laiku pieļauju, ka pavadīšu domājot par to cik daudz būs jāizdara pēc atgriešanās. Varbūt Tev ir kāds padoms šajā jautājumā? Kā tikt galā ar laika trūkumu un kā atslēgties no visa un visiem? :)

Zinu, ka šis bija nedaudz off-topic no šī raksta patiesā mērķa, bet gribu, lai jūs ziniet, ka ne vienmēr blogeru dzīve ir skaista un rožaina, it sevišķi tad, ja tas vēl ir jāapvieno ar pilnas slodzes darbu, attiecībām, ģimeni un sociālo dzīvi! Lai nu kā - ceru, ka Tev patika šis ieraksts un ka šīs nedēļas Ebay atradumos atradi kaut ko noderīgu arī sev!

On Friday I had a really amazing opportunity to go to H&M Showroom in Riga and preview the newest Conscious Exlusive line by H&M. And, oh boy - it is so, so good!
Honestly, I was so pleasantly surprised to find out how awesome and cohesive this line is, how beautiful and interesting the garments and accessories are and how you could feel the taste of historical art in a modern manner. The collection itself is very easy and calm - the colors vary from creamy white to pastel pink and even to some darker shades of blue and black. When I was talking with Brigita (from brigitadambe.com) about which items we liked the most from the collection, I was actually struggling to name only few items, because, honestly, I liked almost everything from this line. Actually like is not strong enough word - I seriously LOVED this collection!

Therefore, with that being said, I definitely recommend heading to your closest H&M shop which will sell this collection or check it out/buy it online on 7th of April, because I know it is worth the hype! :)

Piektdien man tika dota tiešām lieliska iespēja doties uz H&M Šovrūmu Rīgā un aplūkot jaunāko H&M Conscious Exlusive kolekciju. Ticiet man tā ir tā vērta! Goda vārds, biju ļoti patīkami pārsteigta par to cik lieliska un pārdomāta ir šī kolekcija, cik skaisti un interesanti bija apģērba gabali un aksesuāri un cik ļoti varēja just skaisto vēsturiskās mākslas garšu mūsdienīgā manierē. Kolekcijas ir ieturēta vieglā un maigā gaisotnē - krāsas un toņi variē no gaišajiem krēmīgajiem un pasteļkrāsas rozā līdz pat tumši zilajiem un melnajiem toņiem. Today I would like to share with you an outfit I wore to Riga Fashion week Maybelline Make it Happen day. The main accent of this outfit, without any doubt is the beautiful, feminine floral print skirt, that I bought last week at H&M!
As I started planning my fashion week outfit with this skirt, I decided to throw in some other items from H&M as well, therefore, I chose to wear the cool t-shirt from H&M X BALMAIN, and put on one of my favorite rings, as well from this collection. As it is April already, I decided to play a little with the whole spring theme and wore the previously mentioned floral skirt + added a lovely flower type necklace that I bought on Ebay a while ago. But since there are still many days when it feels like it is still winter outside I styled the outfit together with some black elements and as we all know - black goes together with everything! :)

Un kā jau mēs to zinām, tad melnais "iet" kopā ar visām krāsām :).

It is almost middle of spring and we surely have to start thinking about those sunny days when we will  have to protect our eyes from the bright sun. This is actually one of the first makeup looks that I created with one of the newest additions to my makeup table - the Morphe Brushes 35B eyeshadow palette. As back then I was only playing with it and testing it out, I decided to create a makeup look that used the maximums amount of different colours to see how the palette works, how good quality are the eye shadows in different colours and how I would continue working with it in the future.
Trust me when I'll say that you will certainly not regret buying this eyeshadow palette as it is that good! And if you follow my blog closely, then you might have noticed that I've already created two makeup look using this eyeshadow palette. I definitely took the palette with me when I went on a vacation to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura as I, honestly, cannot imagine a more perfect setting than the beautiful and sunny Canary islands. I created this makeup look when I already was excited for my vacation, therefore, I'll surely recreate this look when on the islands!

If you follow me on social media either on Instagram or Facebook, then you already know that I have safely returned from my ah-mazing trip to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura and, sadly, today is my last day of vacation :/

But I have no intention of being sad for a long period of time since I have two almost full camera SD cards filled with sunny, warm and lovely memories. I will cherish each and every moment, because I had an amazing vacation which, honestly exceed my expectations by 100%! I do have a lot of content that I am intending to post on my blog regarding Canary islands, but bear with me while I go through those two sd cards + I have a lot of exciting stuff not vacation related as well! It's surely going to be busy month as I have my work cut out for me :). But as for two weeks my only worry was what to choose for dinner and which beach to head to, I am fully relaxed and regained all strengths that were needed for me to dive back in the crazy mumbo-jumbo life that I have! :)

For the first five days of our vacation we were unpleasantly surprised by the strong gushes of wind which were neverending. Some evenings we didn't even step out of hotel rooms since the evenings were quite chilly and we had no intention to freeze while ironically being in of the warmest places. At first I totally gave up on taking any ootd pictures since the wind followed us everywhere, but luckily, we were also able to find some calm and windless spots, just like the one you can see in today's blog post.
The outfit I wore on that day was surely more in the boho alley, since I decided to throw on those cool round sunglasses from Jimmy Choo, as well as that long sleeve kimono style cardigan from H&M Loves Coachella collection. I am always very eager to explore the different collaborations H&M has, since they are always unique, cool and interesting! Therefore, if you want to find some cool bohemian style pieces for summer festivals or concerts you might be attending, definitely head to H&M Divided section, where you'll be able to find this Coachella collection!

Ja seko maniem sociālo tīklu profiliem kā, piemēram, Instagram vai Facebook, tad jau zināsi, ka piektdien veiksmīgi un mierīgi atlidoju atpakaļ no saulainās Lanzarotes un Fuerteventuras un, diemžēl, šodien ir pēdējā mana atvaļinājuma diena :/

Bet ilgi neskumšu, jo man ir divas gandrīz pilnas foto aparāta SD kartes, kurām iziet cauri un atlasīt to saturu, kuru tuvākajā laikā publicēšu arī blogā un priecāšos par katru saulaino un silto, atmiņu pilno mirkli, kuru piedzīvoju šajās divās burvīgajās salās! Mans atvaļinājums bija izdevies uz visiem 100% un es jūtos patiešām fantastiski labi atpūtusies un priecīga, kā arī ļoti mērķtiecīga atgriezties ikdienā un ķerties klāt visiem darbiņiem, kas ir sakrājušies pa šīm divām prombūtnes nedēļām.

Aptuveni pirmās piecas dienas no mūsu atvaļinājuma plosījās ļoti stiprs vējš, kas pat dažreiz noveda mani līdz izmisumam, jo galu galā biju mērojusi tik garu ceļu, lai baudītu silto laiku un sauli, bet tā vietā dažus vakarus pat neizgājām no viesnīcas numuriņiem, jo vakari bija salīdzinoši vēsi un nosalt stiprā vējā vēlme bija vēl mazāka. No sākuma jau likās, ka ootd bildes uzņemt būs bezcerīgi, jo kāda jēga no bildes,  ja vējš pūs cauri līdz pat kaulam un skata nekāda... Bet par laimi šajās pirmajās dienās izdevās atrast arī dažas, retas aizvēja vietiņas un šajā rakstā redzamā vieta ir viena no tām!

Biju sakombinējusi boho stila tērpu, kura galvenais akcents bija interesantās apļveida saulesbrilles no Jimmy Choo, kā arī kimono stila jaka, kas starp citu ir no stilīgās H&M Loves Coachella kolekcijas. Mani vienmēr piesaista šīs H&M sadarbības kolekcijas, jo tās ir pārdomātas un ļoti interesantas! Brand ambassador - let's get acquainted with 4F

Vienā ļoti noslogotā marta darba dienas pēcpusdienā saņēmu epastu, kas man lika pasmaidīt no vienas auss līdz otrai burtiski sekunžu laikā. Ar mani sazinājās PR aģentūra un piedāvāja iespēju kļūt par sporta apģērbu un aksesuāru zīmola 4F vēstnesi (brand ambassador). Tiešām jutos ļoti pagodināta un ļoti, ļoti priecīga, jo, ja godīgi tad Latvijā blogerus par zīmola vēstnešiem izvēlas ļoti reti vai neizvēlas vispār un tas, ka mani ir izvēlējies uzņēmums, kurš aicina cilvēkus pievērsties aktīvam un veselīgam dzīvesveidam noteikti mani iepriecināja vēl vairāk!

Atzīšos, ka neuzskatu sevi par baigo paraugu (role model) vai fitnesa guru, jo sporta zālē neesmu bijusi ne vienu reizi mūžā (bet ticu, ka tuvā nākotnē tas varētu tikt labots) un ar sportiskām aktivitātēm nodarbojos vien mājas vai tuvējā parka ietvaros. Bet tajā pat laikā esmu sapratusi arī to, ka lai pieturētos pie aktīva, veselīga dzīvesveida nav nepieciešams nekas cits kā tikai gribasspēks. Nav nepieciešami attaisnojumi par to, ka nav naudas vai laika, jo piemēram, pastaiga svaigā gaisā, vai viegls skrējiens nemaksā neko. Tāpat arī pāris elementāri vingrinājuma no rīta ir bezmaksas un prasa vien 10 līdz 15 minūtes.

On one busy march afternoon I received an email which made me smile from one ear to ear in a matter of seconds. A PR agency contacted me and offered me a chance to become a brand ambassador of a sportswear and accessory retailer 4F! I felt so, so honoured and happy, because it's not very common for bloggers to be chosen as brand ambassadors here in Latvia, as blogging is still an area not many Latvian recognize. I was so happy about the fact that my first brand ambassador experience is going with a brand that promotes active and healthy lifestyle!

I have to be honest and say that I most definitely do not consider myself as an expert in the field or a fitness guru, because I have never been in a gym (I'm thinking of fixing that in the near future, though) and I surely do not consider myself as the most active person since I only exercise at home or in the park nearby. So with that being said, I definitely believe in the fact that the only thing that you need in order to have an active, healthy lifestyle is willpower. Excuses like: "I do not have enough money and/or time" are ridiculous, because does a walk in the park or forest cost anything? Do simple exercises in the morning cost anything? You only need 10-15 minutes a day to be active.

Sekojoši turpmākās trīs nedēļas es savos sociālajos tīklos un pēc iespējām arī blogā, dalīšos ar bildēm un iespējams arī kādiem padomiem (tik paturiet prātā, ka neesmu ekspertu un balstos tikai uz vienīgi savu pieredzi) par aktīvu, veselīgu un kustīgu dzīvesveidu. Man ir liels prieks par to, ka šī kampaņa tieši sakrīt ar manu pēcatvaļinājuma periodu, jo atvaļinājumā atpūtos uz nebēdu un pat pārāk daudz priecājos par katra vakara vakariņām, kad mani no restorāna burtiski vajadzēja stumt ārā :D. Un tā kā atvaļinājumā uzkrāju gan spēkus, gan enerģiju esmu gatava atsākt sportot un man ir liels prieks, ka tas ir kopā ar zīmolu 4F.

In the next three weeks on my social media accounts, and when possible on my blog as well, I'll share pictures and some advice (but, please, bear in mind that I am not a professional and all my thoughts will be based on my own personal experience) about active and healthy lifestyle. I am actually very happy about the fact that this campaign started right after my vacation as you know how vacations are, especially in hotels with good dinner restaurants, hehe. I certainly enjoyed eating way too much and I almost had to be carried out of the restaurant. Food coma for 9 days straight, haha! I have regained my strengths and energy and I am surely ready to workout again and I am super glad that it is together with 4F!

KAS IR ŠIS ZĪMOLS?

Pirmā 4F veikala atvēršana “Rīga Plaza” iezīmēja sporta apģērbu zīmola 4F paplašināšanās sākumu ārpus Polijas, kur pašlaik atrodas 167 firmas tirdzniecības vietas. Turklāt zīmols 4F ir pārstāvēts vairāk nekā 600 sporta apģērbu mazumtirdzniecības veikalos 27 Eiropas valstīs. Zīmola 4F īpašnieka OTCF piecgadu attīstības plānā ir paredzēts pakāpeniski palielināt klātbūtni jaunos tirgos un atvērt vairākus vienzīmola veikalus Čehijā, Rumānijā, Serbijā un Slovākijā. Savukārt Latvijā 2016. gadā ir plānots atvērt kopumā četrus firmas veikalus.

Zemāk vari apskatīt bildes no atklāšanas pasākuma, kurā, diemžēl, man nesanāca piedalīties, jo biju prom Kanāriju salās. SO WHAT IS 4F?

With the first store opening in the shopping centre "Riga Plaza", the brand 4F marked it's expansion outside the borders of Poland, which actually has 167 4F stores. The brand is represented in more than 600 sportswear clothing retail stores all around Europe and if precise - in 27 countries. The owner of 4F has a vision of opening more individual stores in Europe starting from Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia. By the end of 2016 we will have four stores in Latvia. Above and below you can see some photos from the store opening in Riga Plaza in which I sadly could not participate as I was away in Canary islands.

4F SPRING/SUMMER COLLECTION

The inspiration behind the S/S'16 collection of 4F is sport and active lifestyle in the nature. The collection will consist of both activewear and everyday clothes. Colorful fabrics and reflective elements will dominate. The main colours are going to be sea blue, turquoise, leaf green and fresh mint. A lot of attention is payed into designing clothes with the reflective elements to make sure that the sportsmen is visible in  late evenings and night.

4F produkcijas izcilo kvalitāti augstu novērtējušas vairāku valstu Olimpiskās komitejas, arī Latvijas Olimpiskā komiteja, kas noslēgusi līgumu ar OTCF par speciālas kolekcijas izveidi Latvijas sportistiem, kuri šogad piedalīsies olimpiskajās spēlēs Riodežaneiro un 2018. gadā — ziemas olimpiskajās spēlēs Phjončhanā. Turklāt olimpiskā kolekcija būs plaši pieejama visos 4F veikalos Latvijā, kur to varēs iegādāties, sākot no jūnija.

AN INTERESTING FACT

Many Olympic committees have appreciated the high quality of 4F sportswear and Latvia's Olympic comittee has signed a contract with OTCF for the creation of a special collection for Latvian athletes who will compete in the upcoming Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro and in the 2018. winter Olympic games in PyeongChang.
